Business Resumption Messaging

A Web tool to give Canadian businesses up-to-the-minute information on major disruptions at the border

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has launched its unified business resumption messaging tool that provides businesses with access to alerts about any major disruptions at Canadian land border crossings.

The business resumption messaging details when and where an incident is occurring, how long the delay may be and what other border crossings are open nearby.

Businesses can subscribe to the RSS or Atom news feed to receive the latest information available.

This tool is part of the CBSA’s ongoing commitment to work with its public and private partners to help minimize the impact on businesses in the event of an incident causing significant delays at the border.

The business resumption messaging tool complements a similar system set up by U.S. Customs and Border Protection and will eventually be expanded to the marine and air modes.
