Notice to importers, brokers and software service providers

The CBSA decommissioned the legacy Other Government Department (OGD) release service options (OGD PARS (SO463) and OGD RMD (SO471)) as of . Please refer to Customs Notice 20-21 for the release service options that remain available to you.

The Canada Border Services Agency's (CBSA) Single Window Initiative streamlines the sharing of commercial import data between the Government of Canada and the import community. It balances the needs of government departments and agencies with today's globally competitive business environment. Along with the CBSA, there are nine participating government departments and agencies representing 38 government programs.

The Single Window has two service options:

  • Integrated Import Declaration (IID – SO911)
  • License, Permit, Certificate and Other Documentation (LPCO Image – SO 927)
